Commercial Pest Control
You Can Count On

FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED

TRUSTED AND LOVED BY BRANDS LIKE:

WE ARE DIFFERENT BECAUSE

We are a family owned
and operated pest management service specializing in supply chain and manufacturing facilities.

When a new customer calls us it is typically because they are frustrated with their current service, or lack thereof. The pest control industry is having an extremely difficult time recruiting and retaining talent, with this comes increasingly poor service if there is any at all! We hear every day about technicians who do not show up, constant turnover of technicians at facilities, and new technicians billing improperly or charging for services that are not needed or even performed.

With Pro-Pest Management your account is personally handled by an owner with stake in the company, no one cares like we do. We have more than 30 years of superior AIB ratings and have retained most of our customers since inception.

Specializing in Warehouse Pests for More Than 30 Years

For more than 30 years Pro-Pest Management has focused exclusively on commercial warehouses and industrial manufacturing plants. This means we have seen it all, and we have the ability to tailor our solutions to your needs. We know how critical pest control is within a high-profile facility. Focusing on a niche allows us to ensure we are offering the highest level of service possible and eliminating any distractions away from what matters, our large commercial customers!

  • Cockroaches are regarded as one of the grossest pests that can infest a commercial or industrial facility. Cockroaches reach maturity in roughly 6 weeks, and with each egg case containing around 30 eggs, it’s easy to see how cockroaches can multiply into the tens of thousands or more in a year or less. German cockroaches are the most common concern in a commercial setting; these small insects are typically found around water, especially in break rooms. Evidence of German cockroaches include small fecal matter that looks like coffee grounds or pepper in drawers or under the kitchen sink.

Common treatments for German cockroaches include baits and pesticide applications with glue board monitoring to ensure the job is complete. With cockroaches it is crucial to break the reproductive cycle, so we always apply IGR’s (insect growth regulators) that stop them from being able to reproduce.

  • Rodents are a major concern in commercial and industrial settings. Due to the large sizes of these facilities it is easy for rodents to multiply rapidly and go undetected for a period of time.

The common Norway Rat can have up to 6 litters per year with each litter having up to 12 young and each of those young reaching maturity in 8 weeks; in short it does not take long for hundreds or even thousands of rats to take over.

Common monitoring for rodents includes the usage of mechanical traps and exterior bait stations.

  • Stored product pests include a wide variety of moths and beetles. In a warehouse setting, these insects can cause millions of dollars in damage very quickly if not properly addressed. Common signs of a stored product pest infestation include webbing in food containers, holes in bags of product, and live or dead insects throughout the facility.

Stored product pests are monitored via the use of pheromone traps with common treatments including throwing away infested product, fogging, and fumigation.

  • Ants are social insects that come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Ants can become a major problem very quickly if not properly addressed, and their eradication requires ongoing maintenance until they are eliminated. Workers are wingless females that gather food for the colony; males are winged, and their only job is to mate with queens during the swarming process. Pro tip for determining the difference between winged ants and termites: winged ants have a pinched body, while termites do not.

Common treatments for ants include the usage of baits and pesticides.

  • Wildlife removal is a critical component of our business. The last thing you want is an uninvited guest in your facility; most nuisance wildlife spread diseases, rabies, and can cause physical harm to your employees.

We offer a full range of wild life services from snake removal to bat exclusion.

Pesticide Application on an As-Needed Basis

UNLIKE OUR COMPETITORS, WE DON’T SIMPLY “SPRAY AND PRAY.”

We apply pesticides on an as-needed, where-needed basis. Unfortunately, it is a common practice in our industry to spray the interior of every facility at every visit. This practice needlessly exposes your employees to pesticides when they may not be necessary. Every visit we conduct a detailed inspection to ensure there are no pests present within the facility; we apply commercial-grade pesticides if we discover pests or evidence of active pests. All of our pesticides are rated for food-grade facilities, hospitals, nursing homes so we can ensure we are using only the safest products in your building.

Exceeding AIB Standards

You understand the importance of exceeding AIB standards, and so do we. With decades of superior scores with AIB audits we can ensure you will not have to worry about passing the pest control portion of the inspection. We will be on site during the inspection and discuss our portion of the program with the inspector.

Over the years we have even had AIB auditors recommend us to various facilities which are still some of our current customers.

Certified Organic Pest Control

If you have a certified organic food grade facility you understand the challenges around keeping it pest free while maintaining your organic certification; fortunately for you, we do too.

We have several certified organic facilities and have been servicing them for more than 10 years. We are familiar with the requirements around keeping your building certified organic and pest free.
